Democrats know how to fix the crime problems

Blue cities and states have it figured out. Defunding the Police was the first move.
Because of this, and tying the hands of police, many have quit or moved.
Less Police, less people arrested.

The next brilliant move was downgrading felonies, to misdemeanors.

Then some states, like California made another brilliant move
by not arresting people for stealing under 950.00 in merchandise.

All these things will in turn, make crime rate statistics look much better.
People in office will get many kudos, and even get re-elected due to
their hard work decreasing crime.

I'm sure there are some other similar brilliant moves that I forgot, but
at least we can all breathe a little easier, knowing that our leaders
are working hard to reduce crime.

@DogMan Mayor Johnson has failed his city because he probably felt he could lord over them, and those who voted him into office never had any appreciation of what putting him into office would turn out to be…a disaster that it is.
Yes the 100 or so shootings, his abysmal handling of that city’s illegal immigration issue which places Chicago citizens on the back burner. Then he will be facing potential mayhem during the DNC convention. They’ve starting drilling the CPD for that. Redux 1968?
You get what you and who you vote for.
New York City is another example of a failed mayor, currently under federal investigation. That city is declining under him, despite his boasts to the contrary. He’s at 24% in voter approval.
People need to realize they’re getting screwed by these Democratic politicians in Blue states and cities.

@soar2newhighs Lightfoot was almost as bad as Johnson. They keep going farther
left, and more progressive, thinking it will get better. At this point, it would be impossible
to change anything for the better. A Republican mayor might get elected, but he/she,
would be rendered impotent, by the rest of the lefties.

@DogMan Oakland: The first city to have teams in all 4 major sports leagues (MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL) and lose them all. It's a crime-infested mess. Also, the first city to have an In-N-Out restaurant and lose it - because of rampant, unmitigated crime. Go buy a burger and have your windows smashed. In-N-Out said enough is enough and closed the place.
