Whitrey Bulgers gang still exists, even though Whitey got caught. They run South Boston. My former mother in law used to waitress at a bar that was affiliated with Whitey's gang.
@sladejr I never learned the name of the bar. The only part of the story I was told was that the owner was affiliated with Whitey's gang, and the owner disrespected the ex's mother. The ex, sane, down to earth guy that he was...then drove his cab through the front doors.
