@checkoutanytime I knew a girl a while ago who was dating my nephew-in-law. They were all out drunk driving around in my nephew's car, and they had a fight. He got out of the car and started walking, which left her alone in the car, and she decided to drive while drunk. She hit another vehicle and killed the driver...a young man.

She was sent to jail for manslaughter, and had to serve five years. I think she was actually sentenced to 8 years.

But...I guess my point is, the girl KILLED someone, and only had to serve five years of her sentence.

@4meAndyou like you mentioned the woman in the article being a lawyer should of known better, making a bomb is a federal crime idk the penalty but i imagine its much greater then the 15mo, then she used the bomb on a police officer, destroying the car. 12 year minimum i would think.

@checkoutanytime We are not judges...but I do agree that a harsher penalty should apply.
