Three useless thugs chose the wrong house in Lumberton, N.C. because the would be victim was ARMED! What appeared to be an easy target actually turned out to be a HUGE mistake! The three criminals interrupted an elderly couple and their 19- year-old granddaughter one evening by knocking on the door of the residence and forcing their way way in. They demanded money and forced the man and his wife to the rear of the home where the man’s safe was located. The man noticed that the thugs were eyeballing the granddaughter and that’s when the Grandfather took action!
He grabbed his firearm and started shooting the thugs!
Though he was struck several times and had to be airlifted to the intensive care unit of a hospital as a result, the vigilant homeowner was able to hit each of the intruders – one of whom ultimately died from his injuries.
The three men stole their victim’s vehicle and fled the scene. When police recovered the gold Cadillac, they found 20-year-old Jamie Lee Faison lying dead inside. His two alleged accomplices made their way to the hospital and were also airlifted to another facility to undergo surgery.
We don't know how many crimes are prevented by citizens being able to own guns. Even not knowing whether a residence has guns inside can keep the criminal garbage away. They are not in crime to get themselves shot. Democrats would have us all disarmed and wait for, I don't know, social workers to give the criminals a big hug and some affordable housing, since we know Democrats want to defund the place.
@graphite When you’re a politician, have a certain level of security ( often armed) and live in rather nice neighborhoods or gated communities w/ often times, armed security it’s easy to espouse some Nobel, lofty idea until a gun is shoved in your face.
This is the only way this kind of crap will be ended. I never used to carry a gun except for going into bad areas, but recently I carry all the time. We normally do not have much crime in our area of the country but our two largest cities have had an increase of robberies and shooting however. My wife and I both have our CC permits and practice often.
@graphite if these politicians can ignore , violate the Supreme court ruling then the citizen (legal gun owners) can choose to ignore and those laws they don’t agree with.
