According to law and science, an embryo isn't a person, just like an acorn isn't an oak tree. So aborting an embryo is in no way killing anything. Wanna see a bit of the science?

Abortions are only performed before the embryo or fetus can survive outside the womb. That was the standard for legal abortion in Roe v Wade and continues to be.

@ElwoodBlues So by that logic, you are OK with both abortion and capital punishment?

@RedBaron I've explained how an embryo is different from a person, with the implication that aborting an embryo isn't killing a person. How do you think embryos connect to capital punishment??

@ElwoodBlues Both are tantamount to playing God.

@RedBaron Freezing an embryo for 27 years is playing God. Transplanting livers and hearts is playing God. Curing cancer is playing God. Fitting artificial limbs is playing God. Giving a college education to a poor kid is playing God. We do a lot of playing God these days.

@ElwoodBlues If you say so.

@ElwoodBlues how is giving a college education to a poor person playing God some people don't have the funds and people out there help them which I think is a great asset to help somebody get the education you are so misguided in your thinking you need to just really look at what you are saying.
