Weed being illegal boosts incarceration rates, reduces personal freedom among the general public, and makes illicit drug use less socially acceptable. Whether those are pros or cons depends on who you ask.
As for all the shit you normally hear about car crash death, violent crime, youth usage rates, and suicide -- that's all fake according to the best data available from the US. It's not exactly a scientific experiment and studies of entire states don't hold all else equal, but this is the best I've ever seen:
