Somebody's in trouble.

Haha thats some 'quality" control there

Surprising so many don’t consult Spill Chucker

Not always among the brightest of people, advertising designers!

See the flaw here, not only the spelling error?
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I guess they are reassuring us that their commitment to quality is just as lackluster as it always was!
Azlotto · M
I don't see anything wrong there...But I'm from Kentuuky.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Azlotto Dr. Watson is half-way there. The flaw is that the claim is ambiguous. It says only the company has always been committed to quality. It does not say its products are of low quality but neither does it say they are of high quality! In fact it does not really say anything about the food's actual quality.

Their products are probably as good as most other leading brands', but the slogan is as meaningless as a "mission statement" or the claim "ISO9001 Registered".

(I am the sort that advertising agencies probably love to hate, because I read their slogans, claims and hanging %-ages critically, not only for what they say, but also for what they don't say! Perhaps I was a barrister in another life; and no, a 'barrister' is not a dyslexic waiter in a pretentious cafe! )

@ArishMell I'm dyslexic. I got depressed and jumped behind a fast moving bus.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Azlotto I see! Mmmm! I apologise if I've offended you.

(I'm not, but must admit my handwriting has gone from bad to worse, and my typing is no better.)
