Age old question. Is it pronounced "Gif" or "Jif"?

Stands for Graphics Interchange Format. That should be hard enough evidence right there. Hard "G" in Graphics, it's not Jraphics! so GIF is the logical choice right? Not Jif, we're not making peanut butter here.
