@swirlie I think the question is supposed to be which of those phrases is correct. I know it's not phrased as a question but I still treated it as one when I answered it.

Okay I get that, but when someone starts posting about English grammar, don't you think they'd have a grasp on grammar as well as sentence structure themselves before asking a question that could potentially sink their integrity?

@swirlie I see what you mean, but the poster is just stating her own experiences and hasn't thought to phrase it as a question.

In that case, the poster is only making a benign statement and is not soliciting any input to her benign statement which means we shouldn't even be here wasting our time trying to figure out why she never included a question mark (?).
