Do you like the term "em dash"?

For some reason ─ I don't know why ─ it delights me :)

@Poppies it's the longer kind of dash ─ like that. Apparently because it traditionally is as long as the space taken up by a capital M.

@ServantOfTheGoddess ah! But does any keyboard have that long dash? Or anything except the hyphen? I'm not counting the underline.

@Poppies I don't think so. In Word, sometimes typing two dashes in a row will turn them into an em dash, but sometimes not; then I use "insert" "symbol" and find it.

I wonder why SW ─ ever quirky ─ marked your comment "sensitive"!
