So a couple from church invited me to lunch yesterday it was nice

But they started talking to me about the importance of having a goal and I was like what kind of goals could I have? I’m 46 divorced, in someway widowed, I have a job(part-time).
They were like you go for a long bike rides over two or three days. You plan it and then you do it.

Or they said you could be a translator because they know I speak English and French perfectly. But I looked into that and it takes a lot of study. I don’t think I could handle it.

I told them goals are for the youth, when you’re young you have sports goes like you want to learn snowboarding and surfing, and finish your studies and get a good job, and get married. Once you’ve done all that there are no more goals. That’s my opinion anyway, and I’m okay with it.
