Im almost finished with my Portuguese lessons. Great for grammar and vocabulary. You have to rely on other methods for fluency.

It's okay but there are mistakes there.
DDonde · 31-35, M
@CrazyMusicLover what language did you do for it
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@DDonde First Spanish and then Portuguese. I think there were just some wrong prepositions in English translation and in Portuguese there was this, which annoyed me because I lost a heart where I had to write it.
Which language you practicing?

What language
DDonde · 31-35, M
@wackidywack I've been doing mandarin
wackidywack · 22-25
@DDonde I might try my hand at French

You can get Duolingo premium and there's no ads, no heart meter and word practice and mistakes that you can correct. I haven't yet paid for it, but I got Duolingo Super due to winning a league competition.

@basilfawlty89 The one thing that sounds interesting to me about premium is the speaking practice feature. Is that any good do you know?
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@DDonde haven't tried it yet to be honest, my spelling is getting better and I've got the hang of Irish grammar and my vocabulary is building, but I'm a bit nervous to try speaking as I still have some difficulty with pronouncing some words.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@basilfawlty89 I've got free premium for 3 days twice this year. It's fine but I notice it makes me slack a lot. There's some advantage to only have 5 hearts. At least I try to focus more and write down things to not make the same mistake twice.
