I needed something to occupy my mind, so I’ve been learning Japanese for a week. It’s going well so far.

How many languages can you speak? Are there any in particular that you’d like to learn?

@BohemianBoo is Swiss German different to ordinary German?

@Jacko1971 Yes. When people say they speak German, they really mean they speak Standard German, which is taught in schools. But there are also regional German dialects, which are totally different from the standard form.
In Switzerland, dialect is so common that it's even in media.
