How many languages can you speak?

I needed something to occupy my mind, so I’ve been learning Japanese for a week. It’s going well so far.

How many languages can you speak? Are there any in particular that you’d like to learn?

Just English. I feel like it's a waste of time to learn a language I'm never going to use, and if you don't speak it all the time you just forget anyway.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I studied French years ago and kind of just dropped it. Recently I studied it again and was surprised how much I remembered.

I must admit though, reading and writing and to a lesser extent, speaking are way easier than trying to decipher when I hear it.
