That dude's Spanish was hard to follow...

They asked me to translate for this freight truck driver who didn't speak English very well, but I had difficulty doing so because his dialect was a bit different. I noticed he used "vos" instead of "tu", so he must be from Latin America. I take pride in my knowledge of Spanish and being used to translate, but it's times like these when I'm reminded I'm not a native speaker. It's a bit disheartening. 😥

Wouldn't most Spanish spoken down there be from people of Latin American origin?
