What was the best way you learned a language

I use to speak quite a bit of Spanish. But I haven’t had anyone to talk fluently to. Now that I’m mostly in Spanish/English speaking cities I find it really needed. How did you learn your 2nd language.

It helps if you learn a second language while young, like in the home. People who grow up in bilingual families generally have the easiest time learning other languages due to the language part of the brain developing better.
