What was the best way you learned a language

I use to speak quite a bit of Spanish. But I haven’t had anyone to talk fluently to. Now that I’m mostly in Spanish/English speaking cities I find it really needed. How did you learn your 2nd language.

@Dlrannie did you learn both at a really young age? Did you ever confuse/mix the two.

@TheeRoyalBee Yep Dad always spoke to me in English and Mum in Cantonese so to me they are joint first languages 🙂. I used to confuse the staff at nursery school as they never knew what language I’d come out with😂😂😂
