Will I need to know french to get by in Montreal for a week?

Like for example in a hotel or a restaurant would they know/speak English? 🥴🥔

i think you will be fine. The restaurants in Old Quebec are used to the tourists. MOntreal is not an issue at all. Let me know if you want a few ideas where to eat. I go to Quebec City 3-4 times a year
