@Andromedanian I built some cabinets(bottom ones) and a countertop. I worked for a guy that built tables for the Twisted Root, a bar and grill and other places too. Still o did a countertop like those bar tables. The thing here was I used recycled wood for 80-90% of the job. The tile backsplash was found on a curb waiting for the bulk trash pick up. The plastic on the countertop sometimes called glazing the same stuff most bar tops are made of. It cost 25 bucks a quart it's a 2 part reason and hardener mix. Never shows a cold joint.
