I just learned something important that isn't talked about a lot
Jesus foretold that Jerusalem would be sieged, and then it was sieged by Romans in the year 66 and completely destroyed, along with the holy temple that the Jews needed to keep their covenant with Jehovah. This temple, although having plans of being rebuilt, has not been rebuilt in the past 2000 ish years. The Jews certainly needed that temple, if they did not believe in Jesus, but to the Christians the temple lost all importance after his sacrifice as it was no longer needed for them. That's another serious ball that Jews dropped.
Certainly that prophecy has been fulfilled. I wonder now with the war between Iran and Israel maybe coming to a close, if this is yet another sign how close the end of times is, or "the appointed time of the nations are fulfilled", as Jesus said.
Luke 19:44 They will dash you and your children within you to the ground, and they will not leave a stone upon a stone in you, because you did not discern the time of your being inspected.”
