Hey guys, our friend is Jewish and her Mom(?) died. My wife and I are going to the Shiva. Anything I should be prepared for? Thanks!

Thanks for your input. We went. We offered our condolences. Our friend introduced us to her dad and we offered our condolences. They had food. A cantor from their congregation led a few readings and prayers. Our friend and her family was grateful we showed up. I'm glad we did. Rest in peace Karen.
