An interesting mis-understanding.

Probably not a good start but I wanted to think of something funny.

A friend of mine yesterday tried to say “I’ve paid my dues” but honestly believed the saying was “Paid my Jews”

Obviously we were shocked, he was corrected, it was a learning curve. And yet I can’t stop laughing at “Paid my Jews”

Do you have any mixed up word sayings? I think there’s a word for it but I can’t remember it.
