First they will give you butterflies, then mental trauma

Isn’t that the truth. Oddly, a lot of people I know seem to be getting divorced recently and getting into new relationships…which of course are so new and perfect! They’re all going on about how they’ve found the one!

I can’t help but wonder, how many times can we have our hearts and minds annihilated by a man before we lose every ounce of that hope that allows us to ever fall in love and trust again?

It’s all fun and magical in the beginning. Until it’s not anymore!
