I used to think that I understood how coffee is roasted. I just bought a kilo of Lavassa espresso beans, the bag says intensity 5/10. I thought espresso was always more intense then that. It tastes good.

I think dark roast nay or not be for espresso, so the labelling is confusing. Did you make espresso or just dark coffee with it?

@jackieash so you use it as a dark roast coffee. I am not a milk drinker, so, I don' add milk to coffee. But, everyone has their tatses.
