@fredmohar: Really? Did any religion, that you know of, change its Holy Books? Did anyone re-write the OT? Did anyone re-write the NT?

So, what changed is people's attitudes, as in they do not practice what the antiquated text tells them, unless they're part of the "group", that opposes Abortion, but is OK with capital punishment, and they're not OK with LGBTQ rights, women's rights, etc.

A number of Muslim-majority countries, are now secular and do not practice any form of Sharia law.
