Also he conveniently forgets to mention near identical Jewish religious courts are active all around the world too including here in Canada. And I guess we are supposed to take the word of someone who A)not Muslim and B) not a scholar. Also there are more then one book in Islam so that is factually incorrect and like the bible not written at the same time and there is also the living tradition if you will of his descendants. That is why there are multiple sects. Also most of the violent stuff comes not from the Quoran but the Book of the Sword which was written later. Also people like this like to completely ignore that religious books do not exist in a vacuum. They speak of a period in history and are a product of that time.
