They're so tiny they can climb through the threads of a tightly closed jar lid to get to the sugar! 🐜

Get you a little flat saucer or get a can lid from a side cutting can opener where it has the rim still on the lid. Mix up some baking soda and sugar on that small saucer or lid and set it out on the counter where the ants are coming in. They can't tell the difference between the baking soda and the sugar so they get the baking soda and it kills the ants.
