...and we also have to remember that Charlie's wife supported Charlie's ambitions, so she fully endorsed everything that Charlie stood for. If we're not feeling empathy for Charlie and his wayward ways, then we can't very well feel much differently about the wife he left behind who fully supported his antics.

I suppose Charlie's kids never connected the dots between Charlie saying he supports losing a few American lives to preserve 2nd Amendment Rights and seeing someone else exercising their own 2nd Amendment Rights against their father at an open-air MAGA-rally.
What Charlie's kids actually witnessed was a 'karma moment' and I hope for their sake that they were able to connect the dots after that enlightening experience.
