Adrenaline junky

Some people like to skydive or bunjee jump, me…I plug my long phone charger cable in and take my phone into the bath with me. I’m only one sneeze or slip away from sudden death. But at least I can shit post on sw while relaxing

You're probably OK, because the phone charger is either USB-C, and if you're using the charger your phone came with, it's probably 9 volts. If not, then you're probably within the 12 V range 0.6 Amp max. That is if only the wire that goes into the phone is near water, and not the charger itself, which would be plugged into 110V or 220/240V, which will instantly stop your heart.

Bathe safely.

Sliding that frenetic clip off-screen.....

Do you mean the mains lead to the charger or the low-voltage lead from the charger to the 'phone?

It's the former that's the potentially dangerous one if you drop the charger in the bath.

@SophSmiles Errr... where's the socket?

In cold times I use a small oil-filled radiator in the bathroom, but had to cut a little rebate in the door frame to take the lead out to the nearest socket.

@stunter87 Well, if something goes "BANG!" unexpectedly you know someone neglected to maintain and test those cables as no doubt laid down in the company's own procedures, or to report damage to them, properly!
