do you think this digital age or internet age is problematic at times

i'd say i enjoy the internet mostly, but i have ocd of the thoughts also...and with the digital age or the internet now, on social media, it can at times ruin your inner peace, because you get bombarded by information from people saying different things, a bombardment of constant news and information, that we once, before the internet, never had access too, we see and hear about things now that we never once did....so it can at times be ' information overload' and too much to handle mentally?

then you can start to resent all these people telling you things, posting things which you previously weren't privy to and didn't know about, and even get the urge, to verbally suppress that person and get them to ' shut up' because you're exasperated and angry with them because they're putting out this new stuff all the time.

when all you want is inner peace, the internet and the fact there's so many people 'putting their oar ' in now can drive you mad and people putting their oar in you can also feel unwelcome towards it.

It speeds information sharing, and promotes opportunities for more global communication and understanding as promised. Unfortunately, it also has led, imho, to a new, excessive polarization of ideologies where only one extreme or another is permitted. Everything is good or bad, black or white. The algorithms have flushed out nuance, context, and now AI is trying to summarize everything into word salads of meaningless gobbledygook. 1984 -- the book, as well as the year -- has arrived.
