I think I've finally desensitized to the complaints of others

Everybody is angry and outraged about everything all the time, even tv and videogames. I think if someone's biggest problem is the casting decisions of a movie director, Twitter, or JK Rowling then they're living an incredibly privilaged life.

I don't know where this puritanical attitude comes from, but I imagine it's a sort of learned narcissism due to social media being a part of life now. Everyone wants to cancel eachother, people engage in mob stalking and bully mentalities whilst patting themselves on the back publiclly saying "look how moral I am". It just reeks of a lack of self awareness and character to me.

It seems like humility is a lost concept to many today.

I couldn’t agree more. Whenever i hear someone going on and on about something that doesn’t matter, that doesn’t effect them in any way, I just tell them “People are dying. Get over it.”

@EatTheRichUSA yup. I've worked with people who were slaves, watched people die and were shot in the head and lived, they were the most hard working positive kind people you could meet.

Yet some privaliged 18 year old whos parents paid for them to go to university who used to live in a big house with food on the table is abusive to others and complains because they're apparently a "victim" of "society" or whatever else they can think of.

i@Ryannnnnn I work every day and barely afford living. Yet somebody on this site always has something to say about my work ethic.
