Has anyone here had an SW romance?

I met someone on here about 8 years ago and we started an amazing and passionate relationship. He was a sub and I a domme. I had been a sub in my earlier years and have some beautiful experiences but decided to swap and to be honest I prefer it. He was a very shy man very sweet but life got in the way and we ended it. He had quite a few children and swapped jobs to please one of their Mums. She was rather jealous of our relationship which upset the children (all teenagers) so we decided to end it as we both felt the children have to come first. We ended as friends and I know it was the right thing to do. I'm not a dating site fan and very suspicious of chatting to people online but do feel grateful that I've not (so far) had a bad experience. Anyone feel like sharing their SW romance story?

Met my husband on EP.

I've had a long term romantic roleplay partner I had met on EP that was quite wonderful. It did not become a full relationship because of distance. US vs Australia and she wasn't really looking for a Poly arrangement when I had a Poly partner.

But we still had a good little friendship for a time.

@ViciDraco Are you still in contact?
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@CoffeeCat We fell out of contact. Which might have been my fault. She had gotten really busy for a while and kind of disappeared with her nurse job (ER nurse, so nearish schedules). She tried to reach out later. I was traveling so was a bit brief with my response. I don't know if I was too brief and it seemed like I didn't want contact or if it simply got lost in junk mail or if something happened to her, but I didn't hear back again. It's a shame though. I had really liked her. She had said I had given her confidence and self discovery that she could enjoy things she thought she couldn't due to previous bad experience. So even though we've fallen off I'm still hoping that remained true.

@ViciDraco I'm sure she meant what she said. Maybe you'll meet someone else 🤷🏻‍♀

No, I've not - I've been married longer then high speed Internet. We got together at 36k dial-up
Just a few. They have been lovely and quiet. Just the way I like them.

@DancingStarGoddess Exactly as they should be.
@CoffeeCat I think so too

Flirtation, but nothing that really had the time to develop into a romance. I felt lucky enough to make a close friend regardless.
I've been married more than thirty years, so online dating is a subject I know nothing about, and to be honest, in the main, it sounds awful.

@Mindfulness WOW congratulations on a long marriage, I hope it's a good one. I'm still not into online dating never have been. I'm quite happy on my own. Connecting with my sub again is all the relationship I need.

meh. kinda. it didn't go terribly well, all in all. can't really say where things fell apart, but they did for sure. I came to think of it more as a 'using me' kinda thing.
CoffeeCat · 51-55, FNew
@Neuman Sorry that happened but maybe it was meant to fall apart to make way for another amazing relationship 🤷🏻‍♀

@CoffeeCat hm. maybe. then again the only commonality for all my failures is me. so... hard to pinpoint with certainty, but there are some guidemarks.
