it's good to have good friends and bad to have bad ones.. better off without in that case .. with friends like that who needs enemies?

Well it depends on the person. It could go good or bad either way.
I think the disposition comes from personal desire and passed influences.
If a person has never had a gf/bf but have seen happy couples, they desire that feeling or image for themselves.
Some people who have been married for decades reminisce of the times where they had more freedom.
Relationships can take alot of effort to maintain for some people.
I think the real question is how would you rather spend your time?
