It sounds like they are very shallow. A profile picture should be enough. I must admit that it is important to have some idea of what someone else looks like that you are talking to. Why are they like that? People your age are going through a very hard period of history. It's predystopian. Nobody can afford children but graphic hard core sex is everywhere. Abrahamic religions are failing as they cannot back up their faith with evidence. The rule of law is dependent on your financial status.
