Everything that one wanted to know usually involved a trip to the Library

Hours of searching, looking for "That Book" Looking through back issues of Newspapers.
I remember one time I wanted to know all about specific Laws.
I spent at least 5 hours in the Library going through the Law books, with all the cross references etc.
Eventually I got all the information.
Today it would take no more than half an hour.
Oh the good old days when one could whittle away the hours locked away in a building building ones knowledge.

You mean waste your time looking for something you might never find for hours or even days?
Gusman · 61-69, M
@MartinTheFirst Yep. And that did happen as well. No amount of looking would come up with a satisfactory result.
But wait, there's more....even today one can look for something on the "Net" and not find it because everything on the Net has to be inputted by someone.
Don't believe me?
Try looking for Macrobertson's Cricket Club, Melbourne.
My father was the Captain of this club in the 50's but no one has inputted the information.
