That one email i can never delete.

If it was the last email from a now dead relative then I might keep it. If it was a romantic interest it's gone as soon as they are.

Not sure if this is a breakup type delete but I did that to myself for years. Finally trashed it and it’s worked out. Hope things get better for you.

If it's been this long, you might try sending it to chatgpt and have a voice chat about it. It's free and sometimes it'll offer suggestions to resolve lingering feelings.

I have some text messages from someone i was very close to, and cant bring myself to delete them.

I kept voice mail messages from my ex for a number of years. I had moved back home with my dad and his answering machine used mini cassettes. I had a bunch of them. Finally tossed them some time back, never listened to them tho

Same. I removed all of the pics of her or reminders of her, but there are so many reminders. I'm still waiting for closure before I block her and delete everything.
