I Like Email

First off, I may be the last one who does like email. When I went to post this story, I saw that I wrote the last two stories under this group.

Most email is advertising and bills, but occasionally I get one from someone that makes me smile with surprise. I love a good email thread. It makes me nostalgic for the days when that was the best way for my girlfriend and I to keep in touch when she was working overseas. I re-read some of those threads now and either laugh or wince. It seemed so dramatic and important at the time, but take out the striving romantic prose and silly whining and there’s a good part of our daily lives and adventures captured in there.

I replied to an email this morning from an old EP friend who checks in with me from time to time, which is what got me thinking about this topic.
