It's going to be a long 3 months...
This is not a complaint about the summer heat, although that's bad too. (It's still 28.5°C / 83.3°F at midnight with the windows wide open for the past hour and a half. 🥵) But a bigger reason is my internet. 🌐
Ever since I switched providers two years ago, my internet has been slower and less stable than before. So with the end of my contract coming up, I signed a new one with my old provider to start as soon as I can leave my current one without a penalty. 😌
Part of that new contract was them taking care of canceling renewal of my current one. Well, since they let my current provider know I'll be leaving soon, my internet became even slower and more instable than during the rest of the contract. 😒
Is that legal? Probably not... After all, I am still paying my current provider the full price for their full service until the contract with them ends. 💵 Can I prove that they reduced the quality of their service as revenge for me leaving soon? No... It lasting for weeks now and the timing being very coincidental probably won't last in court, even if I had the time, money and energy to take it there. So I'll just have to deal with slow and unstable internet until my new connection is activated. 🙄
Until then text loads alright, but images take 5-10 seconds to show up and YouTube runs on 480p half the time. On my phone I can disable WiFi and get good service on 5G, but on my laptop I'll just have to be extra patient. 😫
