Well this has been likely the longest social media account that I have had in decades. Nor do I switch social media accounts frequently.
As to sharing, do be careful what you share, no matter what site you are on. I have had to delete posts even on this site.
Yet remember time will show the broad spectrum actions of others. Holding back on new relationships should be expected. Yet time itself can show how others might react.

I think you're right about the reason why many people use social media. It doesn't really work for me, though. Even though I've been here for 10 yrs, I feel increasingly alone on this site. My connections with people in real life are much better at this point.

@Shibalaha Yes and no. The thing about most humans is we don't remember everything. Yes it might be apart of us. Yet we often don't recognize it.
It would be an terrible thing to remember everything all the time, since none of us are perfect.
