i oftne give up on the vidas the adverts/commercials take too long

On a computer or an android - firefox with ublock origin may help. I use those.
AND if you also install sponsor block - that skips over some of the in-video ads that are narratted by the person doing the video, like when they start in about shavers or some stup*d VPN.
Part of the video navigation bar will be green, that is the part with those particular ads.
ON a TV, I have no advice, hopefully someone does, I do not use streaming or even watch TV much.

@HoochieTheClown in uk bbc tv channels have no commericals, as we have to pay a tv license (no seriously we do),andi have adblock plus which blocks all popup etc,, but nothing seems ot stop you tube ads, but ill try what you suggested
