The Internet is so great for learning stuff

And AI even makes it more efficient and faster.

AI is full of 💩 far too often. Be careful what you ask for.

@Jonjdw When it makes my breakfast I'll be interested. I want to see it actually do something of real value. Look it can't even get simple requests right. I argue with it every day and it has to apologize for it's own screw ups. It's also a potential danger

@Jonjdw not in my house. I'll plug their processor into the wall socket
AI is here to stay, like it or not... much like the magats.

@rinkydinkydoink AI is in its infancy. Our computers are not fast enough to handle its capabilities. But they are working on this. You have no idea.

Just think about what The Internet has done since it’s been out. That should clue you in to just how AI will be one day.
@Jonjdw

I agree with you: AI is in its infancy. I look forward to it maturing... did you read what I said? A recap - I corrected Google's AI Mode about a line in a 1930's Ginger Rogers musical TWICE. The answer they gave me was incorrect THREE times after they agreed (at the first two times) they were wrong. Just now was the third time they erred - about this line. It seems they can't remember correcting their mistake because only minutes ago this is what they said about my question -

In a 1930s movie starring Ginger Rogers, who said the line 'Get a load of Minnie the Mountaineer' ?

Google's reply - In the 1933 musical comedy
42nd Street
, the line "Get a load of Minnie the Mountaineer" is spoken by Una Merkel
.
Merkel plays the character Lorraine Fleming, and she directs the comment toward Ginger Rogers
, who plays "Anytime Annie" Lowell, as Rogers appears in a rehearsal scene wearing a distinctive hat.
While Ginger Rogers
is more famously associated with the line "Cigarette me, big boy" from her breakout role in Young Man of Manhattan (1930), the "Minnie the Mountaineer" quip is a well-known bit of banter between her and Merkel
in the backstage classic 42nd Street.

This is WRONG. The chorine to the left of Rogers utters the Minnie the Mountaineer line to Una Merkel.

AI takes away human creativity
Jonjdw · 51-55, M
@MasterLee only if you let it.

It is. But Ai is also great at speaking rubbish.
Jonjdw · 51-55, M
@FeetAreFantastic AI is in its infancy. Like the internet was in mid to late 90s. The Internet just keeps getting better and faster. So will AI.
