Pushing Gnosticism

I have noticed a huge push on YouTube and elsewhere of gnostic ideas lately, including variations on the soul trap (I find the idea of a soul trap terrifying). I asked google what the theoretical benefit would be to pushing Gnosticism if there was a hidden world agenda…and it said this:

Theoretically, a hidden agenda promoting Gnosticism—the belief that the material world is a flawed illusion created by a lesser entity—would aim to detach populations from traditional reality, institutions, and community bonds. This could foster extreme individualism, nihilism, and a distrust of physical reality, reducing societal cohesion and making people more reliant on technological or elite-driven "higher" truths[/c]

I think that we should be mindful about the content we consume in general, but especially at the moment.

Id say believing in a singular answer, esp from AI is not a sound way to base ones beliefs.

The only reason u'd be getting gnostic stuff is because its related to your previous searches.
Its all an algorythm🤷‍♀

@OogieBoogie no it’s mainstream and targeted if you look. And using one thing one ai said that might have been interesting in order to make a point, isn’t the same as “believing a singular answer”.

@OogieBoogie Ai tends to have a lot to say, and my point was only ever meant to be brief.
YouTube’s algorithm has not been accurately tailored for a long time. And they absolutely do promote certain things over others. They have agendas and are very much a political/sociological tool. Just as social media is, and has been since its creation.
@Vengabus i wish they would go back to it randomly showing everything. I dislike this algorithm bullshit.
Amd im SO TIRED of YouTubers who sell stuff and their content is based upon "needing" the crap they sell🙄

@OogieBoogie YouTube is a huge corporate cash grab these days. Just another way to fill billionaires pockets, like everything else it seems…
It used to be wonderful when it was first conceived. It was for all of us, and it worked for all of us
