Does internet connection speed matter to you?

It doesn't to me. My current plan is called 'NBN25 FTTN Silver Unlimited' which provides download speeds up to 25 Mbps.

Works great for me. I don't need blindingly fast internet. I don't do movie streaming, or run any servers.

I remember when dial-up first existed. It was 300 bps, then 1200/75, then 2400, then 4800, then 9600, then 14440, then 28880, then 33600, and ultimately 57600 bps. Then it went digital with DSL still delivered over the copper pair from the exchange.

When I lived in a rural area, the best DSL I could get was 512/128k and that was still awesome. The phone line was 11.5 km long.

Later I moved, could get ADSL2+, and had that until Sep 2020 when oldskool phone/internet services from the exchange over copper went away.

I need a higher performance connection. You're getting 25Mbps, download speed. You may not be getting more then 1Mbps upload speed. You should measure.
