can you not download media now like you once could

Even google is different, I remember it use to be the the best over yahoo, and ask jeeves, bing etc.
I remember doing reseach online, on google and getting hundreds of results now you barely get 10 half ass good results! So annoying, it feels like our freedom to learn is being suppressed..because if you can control the veiws, and online traffic you can contol influence, what people know and see and buy.

Everything is monetized. They are still making money off works created in 60s and 70s. Music platforms keep a huge chunk of that share. They are the ones who have made all these rules and laws around piracy to keep the money flowing.
