What's the deal with people leaving dead accounts and creating new ones?

I mean, I can understand wanting to delete your account and leave SW for a while...

but some people will just create a new account on SW and keep using it instead of their old one... in like basically the same day

and they use the same profile pics, have the same friends, post the same selfies...

I don't get it, what did I miss? 👀
