I prefer a track pad, but Microsoft IntelliMouse is fucking amazing.

@SW-User desk works just fine for me. I just took a picture of it on my lap. I don’t use it there.

@Jonjdw Track pad, not mouse pad.

@SW-User guess I’m old I can’t use those things. It’s the same thing that’s on my laptop has what I use a wireless mouse on my laptop.
Basic logitech mouse works fine for me. When it breaks, I order a new one for $5 and just bind it to the receiver I'm already using.

@UnderLockDown it got broke by a cat apparently the wired one that came with the security system. So I got a new one. Put my old one on the security system. So now both wireless now. I use a lap top. I believe mine is basic also. But wireless.
You use your knee as a mouse mat???

I'm still running a The Sims 4 gaming mouse myself - about the longest I've ever had a single mouse.

Pretty much that one. Logitech. I get a few good years out of them.

For my desktop I have a Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum.

Not mine, but a pic from the web of the same model.

@PirateMonkeyCabinet looks expensive and more than what I need I don’t game.

@Jonjdw Costs a bit, but wasn't too bad when I got it. We all have different preferences, and different tools for different jobs. To me though it's been great for everyday non-gaming use and productivity tasks. I also like having additional programmable buttons. Just being able to have a dedicated "back" button on the mouse when browsing the web makes such a difference for me.
