Read lots of books. They're a better source of information than the majority of the internet.

Yeah, I hear "The Art of the Deal" is what made America great again, right?
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@swirlie I've not read it yet but apparently it gives the reader a good idea of the image that Donald wanted to sell.

@Thodsis
I've read it a few times when Trump became part of our literature study curriculum when I first started high school in Canada.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@swirlie Was it an example of historical fiction?
swirlie · 31-35
@Thodsis
No actually, it was being taught as an example of modern day fraud and deception, but being on equal footing with Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice".

@swirlie This high school sounds like a lot of fun!

Well, at the time I was 14 and in my first year of high school. It was considered an accelerated creative, descriptive writing program for people like myself and in that program we were introduced to forensic literary blueprinting. Trump's book then became the subject of interest.

@swirlie What does forensic literary blueprinting involve?

It sounds like a wonderful crime-detection tool.
swirlie · 31-35
@Thodsis
Forensic literary blueprinting is the study of detecting fraud within literary works of art, such as pirated books where identity theft is involved.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@swirlie What fraud was detected in the Book of Donald?
swirlie · 31-35
@Thodsis
In the book "The Art of the Deal", the book was sold as an 'Autobiography' of Donald J. Trump of Trump Corp, written by Donald J. Trump. An autobiography means that it was written ABOUT the person BY the person himself.

As it turns out, The Art of the Deal was ghost-written by a little-known freelance journalist at the time, named Tony Schwartz who pretended to be Donald Trump but was endorsed by Trump and all credit for writing the book went to Donald.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@swirlie Is it still worth reading?

I'm sure a dusty old copy could be purchased.

What other books did you examine?

@swirlie Thanks for the non-recommendation.
