The more we learn the less we actually know, the knowledge of this is the key to all wisdom. Told to me by my Grandfather when I was 19 in 1989, he was paraphrasing Socrates.
@Nebula My Grandfather was very wise and accomplished.

My Grandfather was also a lifelong student, he was always taking correspondence courses on subjects that interested him, he was wicked intelligent, even though he never disclosed his IQ, he was a member of Mensa when the organization still had prestige, had four patents to his name, numerous articles published in trade papers and journals, was trained in bomber mechanics during WWII, had degrees in residential architecture, electronics engineering, business management, and computer coding, computer science, and other things. He was also a serious hobbyist photographer and was the official one at the Monmouth Drag Strip in Monmouth, Oregon, near Salem, he was there almost every saturday during season from the 1950's to the 1970's, he was also a serious baker as well, commissioned to do elaborate wedding cakes, then do their photos, developing them in his own darkroom in his basement. He had many talents.
