I had an interesting thought this morning

On my way to work.

How much do we associate ourselves with our bodies?

As in, when you think about yourself, do you think of yourself in your physical terms? Your body shape and other identifying physical features?

Or do you think of yourself as something other than the physicl being you are?

When I reflected on this, I realized that I tend to think of myself as something other than my physical body. My body is just a part of me that I carry around, but is not who I actually am.

It's probably too early to be this esoteric and philosophical, but here i am.

Not so sure about associating myself to my body type, although I’m adjusting to drastic changes over last few years. At least I think they are drastic. I will say I most definitely do not feel the person inside matches the person that everyone sees. Heck I even scare myself sometimes when I see myself in the mirror. I forget I look like I do! Am I even answering the question? lol.
