It’s a really sad indictment on society. For many it seems much easier to condemn, criticise and hate than encourage and support. Hypocrisy almost seems to be the norm. At the moment, with many empathy seems to be a dirty word.
Fortunately though, it’s not all doom and gloom. I like that you see the good in others, the value of care and kindness.
Well done you.

@nowic2 Yes, sad, but it does seem that empathy is a bad word today. Division and hate is encouraged for even the smallest offense. I am just weary of it all. And thanks. I'm not perfect by any means, and I miss the mark sometimes, but I do try.

@LadyBronte I agree. I know we are all different but for me it’s much easier and genuine to be caring, kind and supportive than nasty and callous.
Don’t be harsh with yourself. We all miss the mark at times. The difference though is that when you do. As much as circumstances allow, you try to remedy it. It’s the mark of an altruistic person. Long may they live and overcome.
All the best. 🙂🌻
